memories on film:
I’M GLAD You’re here.
Half Cambodian and half Chinese with roots that run deep in Long Beach, California, my blended culture and environment has undoubtedly shaped who I am today. From witnessing the rise of Facebook at age 11 to the evolution of Influencers today, I’ve always had a strong interest in how humans interacted with technology. My appreciation for communications comes from writing and proofing my parents work emails ever since I was in elementary school (English is not their first language). I remember how challenging it was as a seven year old to write an email with very little understanding of aerospace engineering — but we got through it together.
I don’t have a specific job “title” I am aspiring to be. I don’t feel the need to label it or want to confine myself. I do know my passion is to help brands problem-solve and grow in the ever-evolving digital age. Whether it be through event planning, content curating, marketing strategy, media planning, or data analysis, I strive to execute projects in order to champion new ideas and build stronger relationships.
On a more personal note, I am a devoted cat mom with a questionably expansive capacity for memorizing song lyrics. I spend my free time at home testing new recipes in the kitchen or watching a scary movie. After a long work day, I often unwind with kickboxing or yoga. When not at home, I’m out with a film camera on hand while on my lifelong quest to find the best croissant life has to offer. Honorable California croissant mentions are from Moulin or Chaupain Bakery.
